My Birthday Present

My grandma said my birthday present this year was teaching me how to make home-made noodles with my great grandma's noodle cutter (that old looking tool). She knows I hate to cook, so she must have thought it would sound more exciting if it was a present. Well let me tell you, making noodles is not fun regardless if it's your birthday or not. But they do taste pretty good.

  1. Everyone likes my old homemade noodle recipe, too. They do take a long time to make but people enjoy them. I got the rcipe from my mother-in-law.
I enjoyed seeing your family in Utah and glad you could come. It was so good to be with you again. It has been fun this last week here at Julie's. Wa and OR have beautiful mountains, trees, waterfalls, and rivers.
We had fun looking at the pictures of you and Tim and Gabby on your blogsite and those from the family reunion. I hope to see you again soon. We'll pray for the right job for Tim. I am glad Gabby is growing and is happy. Love, Grandma A.

  2. I would have told them I don't have to make anything on my birthday, people have to cook for me. Then offer to try it next week. :)
